SNU-BioTalk 2026, the 3rd International Conference organized by the Microbiology & Biotechnology departments, is themed "Evolving Landscape of Translational Medicine - A Future Perspective". The conference aims to bring together leading scientists, clinicians, industry partners and young investigators from India and abroad to discuss recent advances in translational research spanning immunology, biotechnology, precision medicine, and emerging therapeutic technologies. This conference seeks to bridge foundational discoveries with clinical and societal applications, while providing a vibrant platform for students and early-career researchers to engage with global leaders in the field of biomedical sciences.

The Department of Microbiology and the Department of Biotechnology at Sister Nivedita University (SNU), Kolkata, are dedicated to providing high-quality education and research training in contemporary life sciences. The departments offer undergraduate, postgraduate, and doctoral programs with a strong foundation in microbiology, molecular biology, immunology, genetics, and biotechnology, complemented by extensive hands-on laboratory training.
